Themen und Projekte
seit 2006 Weiterentwicklung des Themas Film (laufende Bilder) in Rauminstallation (begehbare Bilder). Realisierte Projekt “Tulip Dreambox” in der internationalen Ausstellung DormArt (Kurator, unter anderen, Jan Hoet, Peter Friese), “Wolken Heim” begehbare Himmelbox in der ehemaligen Kapelle des Kulturcentrums Boxmeer (NL).
seit 2003 mit Film und Video wird vornehmlich das Thema Metamorphosen bearbeitet. Seither entstandene Filme sind „Tulip“ 2003, „looking for inspiration“ 2006, „Wolken Heim“ 2008, “Namiba
untouchable” 2011.
2002 Videoinstallation „Se ma yesh“ mit dem Arbeitsstipendium des Kulturamtes Düsseldorf unterstützt. Sie handelt vom jiddischen Sprichwort
seit 2001 Fotoserie „Memory”. Es geht um die Mechanismen der visuellen Erinnerung und der Tatsachen, dass das Sehen und Erkennen in jeglicher Form an das eigene Bewusstsein gekoppelt ist.
seit 2000 Gründung von Alma Mater Jahresklassen für künstlerische Fotografie Düsseldorf mit Katharina Mayer. In den Kursen werden das fotografische Sehen und das Entwickeln einer eigenen Bildsprache gefördert.
seit 1999 ein stetig wachsender Wolkenatlas mit Unterstützung des DWD, Deutscher Wetterdienst Offenbach, der die Wolkenformationen analysiert und die Fotografien um die wissenschaftliche Dimension ergänzt.
seit 1997 fotografische Lehrtätigkeit an verschiedenen Weiterbildungseinrichtungen.
1996 Bilddokumentation über die Vulkaninsel Stromboli, Italien. Sie erzählt von Menschen und dem Vulkan in einem extremen Naturraum, abgeschnitten von den Nachbarinsel nördlich von Sizilien.
1993 intensive Auseinandersetzung mit der Landschaftsfotografie im niederrheinischen Hamminkeln, gefördert mit dem einjährigen Stipendium des Kultusministeriums NRW.

2002 Video installation “se ma yesh”, a grant supported by the Department for Culture, Duesseldorf. It is a videio- work about the Yiddish proverb.
since 2001 Photo series “my memory”. It concerns the mechanisms of the visual memory and the facts that seeing and recognizing are interconnected to one´s personal consciousness in any case.
since 2000 Founding of the School for Artistic Photography Duesseldorf, together with Katharina Mayer. In the courses, photographic vision and the developing of the individual visual language are promoted.
since 1999 Photo series of cloud pictures, supported by the DWD, German Weather Service Offenbach Germany, which analyzed the photographed cloud formations and supplied the photographies with the scientific meaning.
since 1997 Photographic teaching activity at variuos private and public education-facilities.
1996 Picture documentation on the volcanic island Stromboli, Italy. It tells of the human- beings living on the volcano, in an extreme natural surrounding, cut off of the neighbour- island north of Sicilies.
1993 Intensive preoccupation with landscape photography in lower-rhine river area nearby Hamminkeln, recieving a one- year’s scholarship of the Ministry for Education and Culture, North-Rhine/Westphalia.
